Mobile phones, rain gauges distributed to Kaski farmers

 

Pokhara News, June 20:

The District Agricultural Development Office (DADO), Kaski has distributed ‘special’ mobile phone sets, rain gauges and thermometers to the district-based farmers in a bid to facilitate them in agriculture.

The devices provided are expected to resolve problems related to agriculture, said crop conservation officer at the DADO Stuti Acharya.

The total 43 mobile phones, many rain gauges and thermometers have been handed out under the Climate Disaster Adaption Building Project to 26 agriculture group cooperatives and 17 livestock farms. RSS
