Gandaki Medical College offers discount in journalists’ treatment

Pokhara News, June 20:

Gandaki Medical College Teaching Hospital and Research Centre, Pokhara will be offering discounts in the range of five to 50 per cent for all members of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).

The service to be provided to journalists holding the FNJ identity card features cost free general bed charge, 50 per cent discount in cabin, OPD and emergency facilities, 25 per cent in lab test, 20 per cent in USG x-ray and five per cent discount in MRI, pharmacy, dental and ECG treatments.

FNJ Kaski Chapter President, Dipendra Shrestha, and Gandaki Medical College’s CEO, Santosh Kumar Khanal, signed the agreement amidst a press conference held on Monday.

Shrestha termed the agreement a milestone in journalists’ treatment, and added further that the FNJ members from across the country can avail of the new offer.

CEO Khanal said the agreement will be effective for a year while pledging additional facilities for journalists and their family members in the coming days. RSS
