A multi-purpose covered hall is to be constructed at Bhandardhik of Lekhnath for promoting sports in the area.
The covered hall of international standard is going to be built at a cost of Rs 5.5 million with the financial support of the Youth and Sports Ministry and the initiative of Western Regional Sports Development Committee.
The covered hall is going to be built in view of South Asian Games scheduled in Nepal in 2019. The covered hall will have the facilities for various games. Chairman of Western Regional Sports Development Committee, Khagaraj Poudel, on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the covered hall. RSS
