Teej Song and Volleyball Competition from Tuesday

The Open Teej Song and Volleyball Competition is taking place from Tuesday coinciding with the advent of the festival of Hari Talika Teej.

The Bagmara Yuva Sangam Group in Kaski is organizing the event at Pani Tanki Bagmara in Pokhara – Lekhnath Metropolitan City – 33 from August 22 to 24, Group’s Chairman and Competition Coordinator, Pramod Acharya shared.

The three-day event will also feature entertainment sporting competitions as breaking down clay vessels, rope tugging competition and performances from comedians.

The winner, first – runner up and second – runner up in the Teej Song competition will be awarded Rs 20,000, Rs 12,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively. The organizers have set Rs 3,000 as consolation prize.

In the volleyball tournament, the winner, first – runner up and second – runner up will take home Rs 40,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively. RSS
